Collaborating with the community to reduce flood risk.
Collectively we have a voice, together we make a difference.

Flood Action 4 Buckingham (FA4B) was established in November 2024 by local residents and businesses who’ve experienced first-hand the devastating impact of flooding in our town.

We came together after witnessing repeated failures by those responsible to address Buckingham’s increasing flood risk and are working closely with relevant stakeholders and agencies to push for much-needed, meaningful change and ensure our community is no longer overlooked.

Why Accurate Reporting Matters

The Environment Agency’s report following the November 2024 flood listed only 9 homes as affected by internal flooding. Based on previous reports and local knowledge, we know this to be grossly underestimated and the true number closer to 90 properties.

This underreporting is a serious problem, as funding for flood defences depends on the scale of reported impact. If the data doesn’t reflect reality, Buckingham will continue to miss out on vital resources.

How You Can Help

If your home or business has been affected by flooding—even if it was minor - please report it using the questionnaires below.

Every report helps build a more accurate picture of the situation in Buckingham and strengthens our case for the funding and support we urgently need.

By working collaboratively as a community, we can:

  • Raise awareness

  • Demand action

  • Make Buckingham more resilient
