FA4B meet Minister Emma Hardy

Dear FA4B Community

Please see below a Facebook post from Callum Anderson MP, following Tuesday’s (13/10/ 26) visit from Minister Emma Hardy.

A huge thank you and congratulations to Callum for securing this important visit. It was a key priority for FA4B when we first met with Callum in January 2025 and it is very encouraging to see this ambition become a reality through our shared commitment, collaboration and the work of the Multi-Agency Flood Meetings (MAFM), which Callum chairs.

The meeting was extremely positive and provided a valuable opportunity for FA4B to highlight the concerns and challenges facing our community as the frequency and severity of flood risk increases. It also reinforced the importance of building on the progress made to date, strengthening cross-party and cross-county collaboration and working together to deliver practical actions and tangible outcomes in flood risk management, investment and supporting legislation.

This is an important step forward and we look forward to maintaining this positive momentum and continuing to work constructively with all partners to secure meaningful, long-term benefits for our community.
